It's the last weekend of the summer and the beats just keep coming. The search for quality content seems to be at its easiest point, as a stroll through Soundcloud (with repost blocker) helps me hone in on my favourite artists. In fact this week features no artists I haven't posted about previously. The newest is Petticoat, who I just included as one of my picks in today's FUXWITHIT Focus Five (here).
As always the Enlightened Listening playlist is curated to flow as well as possible, from light to dark, easy to hard. Paul Mond kicks things off with another brilliant baile flip, before adding bass with Kryojen, MDK and Krafty Kuts. They are then followed by house with STUND, Crowd Control and Ryan Shepherd offering up some grooves. Things then get crazy with the final four fire tracks from AGLORY, Krayysh, Dropwizz and ZABO. Grab the free downloads below and enjoy your long weekend!
Tyga - Taste (Baile Flip)*
Petticoat - Ferrofluid
Kryojen - Sand Castles
MDK - The Warrior Of Wubstep
Krafty Kuts & Dynamite MC - Impact
STUND - One Life*
Black Box - Strike It Up (Crowd Control Flip)*
Ryan Shepherd - Blue Monday
AGLORY - Kream
Krayysh - Birds Of Prey

New Mixes from Dr Packer, Erol Alkan, Late Nite Tuff Guy and The Magician
Last week I saw the legendary Late Nite Tuff Guy's name above an hour long track entitled "Soul Mix 3" and got really excited. The recording from 2009, features the likes of Barry White, Chaka Khan, Marvin Gaye and many more. While it's a super cool insight into the mind of LNTG, its more about selection rather than transitions and easy flowing enjoyment. That said, today's search led me to 3 other mixes that bridge that gap better, so I've decided to showcase these live sets/mixtapes both for selection and mixing quality. They're all on the funky, disco end of the spectrum so if hard hitting stuff is what you're looking for you're out of luck. However you'll surely find some favourites, new and old. So let's get started, working back towards Late Nite Tuff Guy. Stream below and grab free downloads.
The Magician - Magic Tape 82
Finger firmly on the pulse, The Magician always has the hottest commodities in his show. He's got two of the new Disclosure tracks, his own remix of The Chainsmokers and the killer collabs of SG Lewis/AlunaGeorge and A-Trak/Todd Terry. The vibes are very laid back and groovy, before things pick up in the second half with FISHER's smash "Losing It," Riton's raucous "Up & Down" followed by Angelz "Yeah Yeah." While I'm sucker for disco, this deeper darker section may be my favourite.
Dr Packer Live @ Downtown Disco [25.08.18]*
So much great stuff in here. Dr Packer's ear is extraordinary, always finding the best edits and grooves. Strings and bongo stand strong throughout, while bass riffs beckon your feet to the floor. The extended nature of this set allows for longer more subtle transitions, and like the strings these swells are oh so sweet. Of course there's a number of his own productions, while other highlights include Late Nite Tuff Guy's "Startin' Somethin'," Todd Terry's "Love Sensation" and the Deep&Disco rework of "Stomp." If you're looking for pure pleasure look no further than the final half hour.
Erol Alkan (Disco Set) @ Homo Electric [25.08.18]
While only the final hour of Erol's "disco/italo/hi-nrg" set it's better than nothing. Funky, groovy and gritty, it is Erol through and through with his penchant for powerful records. Going for the classic killer "Right On Target" early, sets the stage for more high octane heat. There's a ton of bleepy brilliance in this more electronic-tilted disco mix with the likes of "Remember" and "Cybernetic Love." Hearing this hour gives a greater appreciation for the evolution of electronic from disco to house.
Late Nite Tuff Guy - Soul Mix 3
A considerable cool-down from the above sets, but still sublime. It is the opposite end of Erol's mix, the foundation from which those artists built upon. You don't have to look far to find the love at the core of this mix, as it emanates not just through the lyrics but the music that later inspired the edits used above. It's just so incredibly powerful to hear these tracks together especially after the other mixes. Watch out for the section of Prince, Roberta Flack and Minnie Ripperton: it's too nice.

Balako - Don't Give Up
This past weekend I was getting a number of looks as I cut the grass. Why? Because I was dancing around with the lawnmower thanks to Balako's "Don't Give Up." Recorded live from the duo's Rio Janeiro studio and taken from the Jungle Music EP on Greco-Roman, this funky fusion of soulful swing and disco is overflowing with heart. The passion pulses out of the horns, swoons through the synths and beats out of the Brazilian bass. You don't have to be Shakira to have your hips moving in mysterious ways, the utter, unavoidable intoxication of Balako's brilliance takes care of that. The mood is magical and warm, lifting up each organic element, making it more than the sum of its parts. Playful and proud, it is at once one of the coolest pieces I've heard this year, while also being one of the hottest. Enter the enticing jungle environment and dance your day away with stream/download here.FOLLOW BALAKO: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Enlightened Listening for August 24
Some weeks you just get lucky and stuff literally seems to fall in your lap. That's the case with one of today's tracks from SSOS, an artist I didn't know I was following on Soundcloud or Twitter. Whoever that is they are not the only one to make their first appearance on my radar. That said this week's edition of Enlightened Listening is full of my favourites doing their best work. Bass is most definitely in, and in a variety of formats here. Check them out below and read brief descriptions at the bottom.
Bearcubs - Haunts
Bigger more expansive groove than usual Bearcubs, but that doesn't take away from its influence. Bold and beautiful, "Haunts" swings a strong sword to your heart.
Autolaser - less
Stunning. Could just say that. Bright beautiful effervescent soundscape, with lovely lavish grooves and subtle playful diversions. It's tracks like this that, in my opinion, prove we're in a golden age.
knapsack - Matrix*
Did someone say golden age? That's the quality of this knapsack production. As I said above, these are some of my favourites doing their best work, and this is so that. From the real strings, to the genuine feel, knapsack has made one hell of a track. It just feels so damn good to listen to.
The Night - Set Me Free
I'm on a role with segues because I haven't smiled this much listening to a song in a long time. I'm a sucker for Alana Watson (her delivery makes my heart quiver), but boy did Dan Stephens surprise me with the production. The crisp balanced delivery of Nero is there ,but it in a more funky, upbeat fashion. And to be honest I'm not sure there's anything I like more (take their '88 and '92 VIP mixes).
Woofax - Momentum
Killer electro funk from from who else but Westwood Recordings. My favourite from the EP of massive, anthemic glitch hop. Guitar riff guide this ridiculously destructive, speaker rattling vibe.
Gramatik & Kotek - Vitalik Buterin
Kotek just doesn't stop. Is this his 4th track in 2 weeks? Not quite but damn. A masterful mix of Gramatik's groove genius and Kotek's killer crack, rattle and roll. A brilliant banger.
Big Sean - Bounce Back (Vanic Remix) [SSOS Flip]*
This one's shrouded in mystery. Me and over 7000 people are following SSOS, presumably many others unknowingly like me. Seemingly Vancouver based, this first release comes a day before their Vancouver debut with Y2K at Redroom (here). Identity aside, this is one hell of a mix... of a mix.
Rohaan - Spine*
A few seconds in I was reminded of thook, and Rohaan certainly delivered the same unique quality. The craziest combination of sounds and samples combine over massive bass and killer percussion. Genius.
rOhmz - Vagarious
Dazzling DnB from a Canadian I'd never come across before. Deft design and big wobbling bass.
Voliik x I Am Sid - Croatoan*
Midtempo is hot right now and so are these two. Dark and destructive, punches are definitely thrown. Would be wild to see this one rock a crowd.
32stitches - Fallout (Far & Few Remix)*
Speaking of hot and crowd rocking, dark bangers, Far & Few upped their game again. The unease ridden opening delivers a desolate soundscape with soul crushing synths breathing down your spine. Your skeleton then exits your body with an unexpected irksome second drop. Scary good stuff.
Djedjotronic - H+
As good as ever, Djedjotronic has delivered one of the best twists of the year here. I don't care how you feel about the first half, the release at 2:22 is pure ecstasy. Funky, fat, acid techno. Fkn right!

LIZ - Pandemonium
There are very few 'pop' artists I enjoy more than LIZ. Over the years she's tapped some talented producers to bring to life her incredible artistic vision. Favourites include: Djemba Djemba for "Underdogs" with RiFF RAFF, Lido for "Y2K," SOPHIE for "When I Rule The World," Henrik The Artist for "Wild Target," and Wave Racer for "Queen Of Me." Yesterday she did it again as she linked up with Grammy nominated Finnish producer, Nico Stadi whose credits include Justin Bieber, Lindsey Stirling and Goldroom, to name just a few.
"Pandemonium" does a great job of living up to its complex and crazy namesake with its wild sound design and onslaught of effects. That said Stadi does a masterful job of keep it all taught, in its short pop delivery. LIZ's lyrics mirror the groove and get down of the bouncy bed, bringing her trademark throwback fun and goofiness, never more apparent than in the line "I make it pop like a VHS." And while there's always room for experimentation and progression in an artistic ouvre, consistency in the world your art creates is the best reward for your fans. That's exactly what we get with the look for "Pandemonium" which arises at the end of the music video from her previous single, "Super Duper Nova." Stream via Soundcloud below, and purchase from your favourite outlet here.FOLLOW LIZ: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

warner case & Zak Downtown - good time
warner case continues to impress, crafting a sweet, bouncy, house, party track with fellow NYC native Zak Downtown. Although you might think "good time" was made in the middle of a bender, surrounded by party people, it arose while case chilled in his apartment, alone with his cats. Serendipity struck a couple days earlier when he bumped into his friend Downtown, later realizing his energy and flow were the perfect fit. As with most of warner case's productions, the vibe of "good time" is ever so lighthearted and joyful. It is pure pleasure, throw your cares aside and groove kind of music. No thinking about tomorrow or the day before, just live in the moment and have a "good time." As case says in his release "Often in music, we get so entrenched in deep symbolism that we forget to let loose and write something that feels good and makes us happy." Enlightened Listening for August 17
We may be past the halfway mark of August and even further through summer but the heat just keeps coming. This week's edition of Enlightened Listening includes a killer lineup of releases with some legends (Method Man & Roy Of The Ravers), personal favourites (Attlas & Kotek) and rising stars (Dawg & Deathpact). As always the playlist flows from light to heavy, bright to dark and includes brief descriptions below. Click through to find downloads, support the artists and of course, enjoy!
SG Lewis - Hurting (ft. AlunaGeorge)
At times brooding, while others shimmering and bright. Truly a match made in heaven.
Devault - Steele
I'm a sucker for steel pans, but this track isn't just shiny, ear grabbing sound design, its got groove.
The Knocks - Goodbyes (ft. Method Man)
We've heard The Knocks with Cam'ron, Carly Rae Jepsen, and X Ambassadors, so it shouldn't be a surprise seeing Method Man in the mix, nor should it be surprising to hear him kill it. The real surprise? How good he is en español. Holy hell this is cool.
Kidnap - Ursa Minor (Attlas Remix)
Another out of this world production from Attlas. Par for the course aka PERFECTION.
Delerium ft. JES - Stay (Matt Lange Vocal Remix)
Speaking of par for the course, another epic, progressive masterpiece from Matt Lange. Pure puppet mastery; the dance floor does as he demands. What a mix!
Uppermost - Starslide
Those synths and that guitar. Absolutely gorgeous, uplifting stuff.
Roy Of The Ravers - Transmission 303
It's almost impossible to match "Emotinium" but this comes close. Furious, fantastic work on the 303s as this acid number winds along with its wicked groove.
Dawg - Get Back*
Viral remix master shows he's more than capable of crafting killer originals. Raw, rough and full of power. The drums slap, the piano pops and vocal chops kill. I feel like this might be the birth of a star.
The Funk Hunters ft. LIINKS - Say Something (Kotek Remix)
I've been waiting on this mix since the remix competition many months ago. Kotek is on one hell of a tear, and this mix is proof of his sensational status. Funky, fat and fun, this one leaves me in awe.
Flava D - Pick Pocket
Deep grooves that not only serve as a surefire party starter, but get your feet flying across the floor.
Deathpact - First Interference
Whoever Deathpact is, they're on some kind of a roll. Many people see "Life & Death" as the standout on Certain Kind Of Magic and that same kind of killer sound design is on display here. Incredible power, no needless repetition and godly glitches make for blistering bass that I can really groove to.
Varien x SWARM - Never Ending*
This collab had me hyped from the get go and yes it delivers. If SWARM and Deathpact are the future of the bass scene it's in good hands.

Aretha Franklin - Get It Right (SanFranDisko Mix)
As you likely know by now the world is in mourning as we lost the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin to pancreatic cancer. Over the decades of her legendary career, her voluminous voice and preeminent productions have been used by countless artists ranging from Dimitri From Paris to Zeds Dead.
Today amidst the outpouring of love comes an edit of her chart topping 1983 soulful boogie song "Get It Right" from respected remixer Paul Goodyear, aka SanFranDisko. The original life Luther Vandross and Marcus Miller instilled in the six minute single still stands strong, like Franklin's legacy. Goodyear has put Miller's bass to good use, driving this extended edit throughout, while also letting the other instrumentation shine through especially in the second half. And there is no shortage of potent play in "Get It Right," as the plethora of percussion and more, come together in a dynamic delivery.
But of course this is nothing without the Queen. She is the leader. Her delivery is everything. It shimmers. It growls. It screams. It inspires. It cannot be understated. Just writing these words puts a frog in my throat. So I'll leave it there. Enjoy the free download here. Rest In Power, Aretha.FOLLOW SANFRANDISKO: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Sade - Kiss Of Life (Kaytranada Edit)
Yesterday the genius that is Kevin Celestin, Kaytranada or KKAAYYTTRRAA, opened up his library offering 4 new releases. Two of these 'new' releases are clearly just WIPs (works in progress) or dead projects, but the others are classic Kaytranda edits taking on legends A Tribe Called Quest and, the subject of this sneak peek, Sade. A perfect pairing, Kaytra and the sublime Sade combine in uber cool fashion, setting your senses ablaze and laying you down in the lap of luxury. This is the kind of musical magic I live for, therefore you can expect to hear it tonight, and grab the WAV now free here.Joining Sade there's also several other legendary names like Cher, Nero, Kiesza and more in the mix. Bump In The Hump is not all just old school love fest though, there's several new names which bring the bass like never before. There's killer KaTT, badass Bishu, egregious Excision, terrifying TenGraphs and noxious NXSTY all in the Fire Finale. On the other end of the spectrum we open with locals Jerome Robins, Frustra, and Wizard Of. Don't miss an all new two hours live from 7-9 PM EDT on Radio Humber or cataloged after the fact on Mixcloud.

Plaisir - Visa Pour Aimer (Folamour Fxxx Their Borders Edit)
Before I could even get to Soundcloud today, I had found the track I wanted to write about. Opening up Twitter I saw the familiar face of Folamour. His post began by addressing his France Gall edit, and the thought process behind his free edits, releasing them whenever he felt "a reason and meaning behind it." Today's release, a take on Plaisir's "Visa Pour Aimer," arose out of a personal loss, primarily as a result of border issues and the forcible division that seems to be rearing its ugly head these days.
Just like the aforementioned edit, this too opens with a dope drum delivery, flourishing through funky, live performance. But it's not just the drums that excel through the organic elocution, Folamour's new studio has grown to include guitar and bass, only further lending itself to this classic creation. All these elements come together to make "Visa Pour Aimer" an ingenious edit, uniting the dance-floor under a familiar funky groove. Eight minutes full of fantastic heart-fluttering fun, this is yet another awesome piece from Folamour, who's yet to disappoint. Grab it free in lossless WAV format, here.FOLLOW FOLAMOUR: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Kalipzo - I Like Cake (ft. Naz Tokio)
Bass house baddie, Kalipzo didn't wait long to follow up her Low Freqs release "Freak." Equally distressing, dark and twisted, "I Like Cake" featuring Naz Tokio is one hell of a hedonist heater. The Los Angelena's talent is on full display with this one, delivering a dope drum foundation for the furious, fire synths to slash and thrash upon. It exudes energy from the get-go, offering up a surefire shuffle groove and more than enough wicked wobs to head bang to. The second drop is especially satisfying after the stress-inducing, stomach churning buildup, proving there is no end to this sugar high sensation. Unlike Steve Aoki this isn't a cake you want to throw away, fill your face with free download via Hypeddit, here.FOLLOW KALIPZO: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Enlightened Listening for August 10
Oh Fridays how I love you. Not only the promise of the weekend, but the new music you bring. No one can touch you. This week's edition of Enlightened Listening sees so many of my favourite artists dropping tracks. There's a couple incredible originals, awesome edits, mad mashups, and re-remixes. Look out for free downloads where available, stream away and read short descriptions below. ENJOY!
Savoir Adore - When The Summer Ends (Element Remix)*
I've been loving the range and diversity of Element's output and this only further exemplifies that. No it's not a trap banger, but yes it does indeed go off. A baile beauty.
MEMBA - Flash
Slaps and grooves with wacky wild design and the usual out of the world atmosphere. MEMBA are no flash in the pan talent, they just keep churning out quality at every corner.
Drake - Sandra's Rose (Crimsen Ghetto Remix)*
Not an "In My Feelings" mix? Yes, such a thing exists. Dope drum work and movement makes this an epic, dirty, dance all night kind of club cut. Kudos Crimsen!
618 - What You Do (Boe Boe Remix) [Sweater Disco Re-Remix]*
Another grooved out club cut, reliant on top notch percussion play. Sweater Disco doing what he does best, tweaking things to his liking, in this remix of a remix.
El Coco - Mondo Disco (Greg Wilson & Henry Greenwood Rework)
Drove home from the cottage last weekend to Greg Wilson's massive 3 hour Melting Pot set (here) and I never enjoyed leaving a cottage more. Not much to say here except enjoy this genius groove.
Piano&Specs - Flowtation Satellite*
Crafty combiners Piano&Specs caught my attention nearly a year ago with their "Sweet Dark Silence." Again they offer up an inspired rave classic made even more magical with provocative piano.
Tiga & Zyntherius - Sunglasses At Night (Dimitri Veimar Remix)
Turbo Recordings are on quite a roll and fairly so, they've got 20 years under their belts. From the package that includes Dense & Pika and Techno Seleba, I'm partial to Dimitri Veimar's mix. It keeps enough of the catchiness of the original, and Corey Hart namesake, while electrifying it to perfection.
Trentino & Usica - Cryme*
While I'll always think of Trentino as a DJ first, I've really come to love his productions. His remix of "La Player" hits my heart every time I hear it. Teaming up with Usica, who we've heard with friend of Bump In The Hump BLANSH, this track takes me back to the wild, and wicked bangers that Botnek used to drop with regularity. Drums and design on point, this one rocks hard and drops even harder.
Daft Punk - Robot Rock (KŸB Flip)*
The quality of Daft Punk's original will never cease to amaze me. Raw and ridiculously enjoyable, while the game has changed in the 13 years since its release, it's heartening to hear KŸB bring that same unvarnished intensity and gut-punch power to this killer recasting. Bass faces incoming!

UGK ft. OutKast - International Players Anthem (Ticklish & Qnoe Remix)
Last month I stumbled upon Berlin bootleg boss Ticklish. It was one of those magic moments where one great track led to another. I enjoyed each more than the last, so much so that I included him as one of my picks in FUXWITHIT's monthly feature called "Focus Five." Read that specific addition here.
Today marks Ticklish's first release since said feature. Teaming up with fellow German Qnoe, he brought his trademark touch to the classic 2007 crunk cut "International Players Anthem." The duo have pinpointed the Willie Hutch sample of "I Choose You" bringing it to the fore, letting its majesty lead though additional trap inspired percussion. The extra oomph and back beat groove replace much of OutKast's lyrics, letting the horns swing you back and forth as though reclining on a hammock. Perfect for the dog days of summer, let its waves wash over you with free download via The Artist Union.FOLLOW TICKLISH: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Drainpuppet - dark water
One of the great pleasures of hosting Bump In The Hump is discovering new artists. It happens every week, nearly every day. Often times these are mere stumble upon moments, and because of the all-new focus I don't necessarily play these discoveries right away. I'll log the name in my continually growing database, follow their socials, and hope I reestablish the connection when I see their name again. That was the case yesterday when Hamilton's Drainpuppet dropped the lead track "dark water" from her forthcoming third album aether light, which closes out the elements trilogy of Firewater and AIR_EARTH. Due out August 28th on one of my favourite labels, DESKPOP, if this lead track is any indication the album will be expansive, inventive, delicate yet powerful and beautiful. Intelligent dance music indeed, catch it in the mix on Bump In The Hump tonight and pre-order/stream here. After the long weekend you might expect a lack of shows this weekend, however that is not the case as I've got tracks looking ahead to sets from Kontravoid, Dombresky, Shiba San, Sydney Blu, Hot Chip, Dustin Nantais and more. Attlas, Memphis, Pusher, Slooze, and STUND stay hot in the summer with yet more new music. Finally, fresh off Veld there's new releases from both Lukav and Rezz. Don't miss all that and more live from 7-9 PM EDT via Radio Humber or cataloged via Mixcloud here.

Monki B2B Purple Disco Machine @ Café Mambo
The long weekend may be in the rear view mirror, but that doesn't mean we can't still reap the rewards of its epic nature. While many of us took to cottages or festivals, BBC Radio One took their setup to Ibiza's Café Mambo for a slew of incredible sets, often pairing one of their presenters with guest DJs. Annie Mac worked overtime playing a solo set and going B2B with both Mark Ronson and Tiga. Pete Tong took to the decks with Patrick Topping and Danny Howard delivered the goods alongside Camelphat and AU/RA. However my favourite pairing came from Monki and Purple Disco Machine. These sets have been recorded and can be found on Youtube and on the BBC Radio One site.
As you might expect with such a pairing, Monki and Purple Disco Machine got groovy right from the jump, allowing the warm island energy to stir the crowd like waves on the shore. There's no shortage of organic instrumentation in their selections helping us to horns, strings and all kinds of percussion. Opening the set with his enormous "At Night" remix before letting "Body Funk" take over and ending with "Dished," Purple Disco Machine's DNA is all over this 30 minute mix. A tip of the cap also has to go to the genius incorporation of the "Groove Is In The Heart" sample into the finale. The whole thing is just an easy moving grooving set, perfect for Ibiza or really anywhere in the summer.

NSYNC - Bye Bye Bye (Heisted By Foreign Suspects x Bad Color)
Put your hand up if you never realized NSYNC would make for some fire electro. I'm part of the majority here, as I never expected "Bye Bye Bye" to become an all out banger, but here we are. Foreign Suspects and Bad Color have recast the essence of the millennial production, bringing bass and grit, in what would be considered a criminal act by the boy band's fans. However in this new corrupt creation we see the track become a terror through tuned vocals, aggressive atmosphere and dirty drops. The key to this whole production is corruption of the original, vocals, and even artwork. While we will always know it as a teeny bop, it now works wonders as a weapon of the future, dolling out damage over its 3:46 runtime. "It ain't no lie" that Foreign Suspects and Bad Color have turned NSYNC into deranged killers, so surrender your soul, put your hands up and download "Bye Bye Bye" for free here.FOLLOW FOREIGN SUSPECTS: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Throwback Thursday: Röyksopp & Robyn - Do It Again EP
Yesterday Swedish singer, songwriter and producer, Robyn broke a long silence unleashing "Missing U" on Annie Mac's show on BBC Radio One. With additional production from Metronomy's Joseph Mount and Teddybears' Klas Ahlund, it is as triumphant a return as one can conceive. It shines spectacular, overflowing with warmth and, as with any Robyn led track, leaves you shaken to the core.
With that in mind, I figured it great excuse to throwback to my favourite work from her, perhaps the greatest collaborative EP ever, Do It Again with Norwegian duo Rökysopp. The 5 track 2014 release is beyond brilliant, both from a pure musical standpoint and of course a vocal/lyrical point of view. The massive, and indeed magical opening number "Monument" is an uber cool creation. Oozing with atmosphere and luxuriant with love it straddles the line between electronic epic and performance art. The drum work, billowing belly of bass, and sax solo make it unlike any production I've ever heard, but my favourite bit has to be Röyksopp's treatment of Robyn's vocals.
Drifting away from this dreamy musical masterpiece, the second track "Sayit" is a club killer. Raucous and raunchy it is the black sheep of the EP, yet sets up my favourite track, the undeniable earworm that is "Do It Again." Also club tilted, it is a sensational stomper that again showcases stunning production and Robyn's resplendent vocals. The rave atmosphere so easily sweeps you off your feet, that you're powerless to its playful potency. At the time of its release I was working a landscaping job and I would often follow its titular task and play it on repeat for incredible lengths.
The fourth track "Every Little Thing" is again a stunning success. Like its predecessors it's overflowing with instrumentation, much of it mere backing but undeniable in its impact. Once again going back for a more expansive, live performance feel, rather than a club cut, it leads into another epic bookend "Inside The Idle Hour Club." Expansive and atmospheric it is a loving, let us down easy kind of finale, full of warmth and poise. Do yourself a favour and give Do It Again a play if you haven't already.FOLLOW ROBYN: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER
