FIRE FESTIVAL 2019 OFFICIAL RECAP Playlist

This weekend the world was tuned in to the awe-inspiring success that was FIRE FESTIVAL 2019, the spiritual successor to last year's head-turning COALCHELLA. Boasting A.G. Cook, Arty, Hudson Mohawke, Iglooghost, Slumberjack, YOOKiE, and a whole host of others on one incredible bill, the two day extravaganza had everything. Whether you stayed locked in on one stage or took full advantage of the epic Minecraft world, the whole undertaking was an absolute wonder. As early as Saturday night, sets began to get shared to Soundcloud, many of which come complete with download and/or tracklist. While I (obviously) didn't get a chance to hear each set, a few of my favourites that you can find in SLEEPYCATT's official recap playlist are Krysh, Poolboy, and onlytom. Stream/download below.

Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Rhett & Attlas - Crater

Over the course of the year Attlas has trained my brain to expect new music from him with regularity. Seems that timer had gone off as I found myself thinking, "Jeez, I could sure go for that feeling new Attlas brings." Well thanks to Rhett's Hollow Earth, out now on mau5trap, we got that new new. "Crater" combines Rhett's robust techno builds and Attlas' always colourful and captivating cinematic arcs. At times it is wild, others entirely restrained. Sometimes shrouded in darkness, other times overflowing with warmth and light. The "Crater" in the middle of the track, and the striding egress that returns to the raucous entrance, imbues the track with an always entertaining progression. Like Tiga and Kölsch's "Still So High," it showcases the best of each artist in compelling fashion. Enjoy now below!
Catch "Crater" on Bump In The Hump tonight closing out a 30 minute run of disco, house, and techno to open the show. As always our Canadians have been cooking up a flurry of fire, with the likes of Dr. Ozi, Snails, and Sam Lamar going back to back to back. However we don't close with killer cuts, but rather synth sensations as we look ahead to Honey Beard's sophomore episode of My Mixtape, this Saturday at 11 PM EST. Supporting them not just at their November 24th Reverie EP release party at Junction City Music Hall (RSVP), Bon Villan make their Radio Humber debut courtesy Sleepycatt's remix of "When I Came Up." Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Keys N Krates - Flute Loop ft. Ouici

It's a new year, and the best part of that is the prospect of new music. We already knew Keys N Krates were working on their followup to Midnite Mass, and now we have another insight into their direction. After "Glitter" which took a more tempered, groove driven approach, it seems like they're back to their old trap tricks. Once again working with fellow Torontonian Ouici, "Flute Loop" is exactly the kind of fun, anthemic fire we've come to expect from the always entertaining and energetic trio. Trap arms, stanky legs and all kinds of chaos come from this dopest of drops, which we'll surely find filling dancefloors all over the place as it's available for free download. Stream below and download via Hive, here.On tonight's all new episode of Bump In The Hump, we get back to the basics with the usual mix of electronic and dance driven tunes, from disco, house, trap, future bass, dubstep and DnB. Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Honey Beard - Dreamless Sleep

Last week I had the pleasure to play Honey Beard's sensational single "Celestial Bodies" from their debut album Dreamless Sleep. In honour its release this past Friday, I've got another track cue'd up and ready to go tonight on Bump In The Hump, but you'll have to tune in to find out which one makes the cut. They'll be playing two sets, Dreamless Sleep from start to finish, followed by a DJ set, and a premiere screening of their latest music video.
Also on tonight's all new episode of Bump In The Hump, I've got a flurry of first plays from artists across the country, yet another new remix from Future Magic, another club cut from Sleepycatt, a funky fire-starter from CYMN, and two absolutely evil productions from locals Krayysh and Casso.
