DirtyFun - Pretty Boi
If his Soundcloud is any indication, Las Vegas based DirtyFun has had one hell of a year with his earliest release, a remix of Malaa's "Cash Money," dropping October 8th 2018. In the 13+ months since, he's released tracks on noir sur blanc, Do Not Duplicate, IN / ROTATION and has found a home on Botnek's World Famous Headquarters. Recently trending towards tech house, DirtyFun has combined the raucous punch of a prominent bass drop with continuous club churning grooves. Yesterday he demonstrated that brilliantly banging blend in self-released single "Pretty Boi." Playing around a vocal sample, the five and a half minute arc shows incredible narrative movement primarily through the pneumatic power of the warped and ratcheted bass delivery. If the dance-floor were a pool, "Pretty Boi" would be a wave-machine capable of creating a tsunami. Crank your subwoofer, then have a seat on or in-front of it for full effect. Grab free download via The Artist Union for repeated rattling.FOLLOW DIRTYFUN: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER

Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: BLANSH - Check This
The eyes of the electronic music world are on Miami as the annual pilgrimage has begun. Labels have been releasing their showcase compilations for at least a month in anticipation of the countless events and hours upon hours of music being shared on the shores of Atlantic. One such compilation, the first from Botnek's brand new World Famous Headquarters, features friend of the show BLANSH and his trademark heavy house sound. "Check This" is just one of nine tracks on the compilation which can be downloaded free/streamed here. Grab it now and enjoy it on Bump In The Hump tonight.
Following last week's trend towards warmer weather and brighter beats we'll once again welcome a slew of spring and summer type tunes, while still returning to bass heavy bangers in the Fire Finale. There's tracks from Dabin, Hudson Lee and The Funk Hunters albums, a handful of artist debuts, a take on Skrillex's classic "Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites" and so much more. Listen live from 7-9 PM EDT via Radio Humber and find the episode cataloged after the fact on Mixcloud here.

TYPE3 & Sebastian Knight - Boombox
For years Botnek have been among my favourite artists, frolicking in their fiery electro/bass/house bangers. It was always their most wild, unrestrained releases that brought me the most pleasure and sent me into tizzies on the dance floor. In fact I believe my most manic times in the club came when they were on the decks. So to say I was excited when they announced their own label, World Famous Headquarters, would be a grave understatement. Still in its infancy, it is this seventh release, "Boombox" from Vegas residents TYPE3 and Sebastian Knight, that has me sold on its electrifying output.
Labelled fidget house, a subgenre a friend and I were just lamenting as seemingly fallen to the wayside, "Boombox" is a certified banger; a track you can most certainly lose your mind to. Absolutely jacking and seemingly ready to explode at any moment, it speeds through with rapid fire wobs and maniacal samples. It bombards your senses but in the best way possible; it is no thrown together collection of sounds but rather a potent progression of pleasure. Like classic Crookers, Jack Beats or even Botnek, this one is sure to set fire to the floor and has already received support from the likes of LondonBridge, Pasquale Rotella and Martin Garrix. Get "Boombox" for stream/download here.FOLLOW TYPE3: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER
