Enlightened Listening for March 23

Fridays never disappoint and this has got to be the best ever we've ever seen. I've compiled a list of 28 singles, EPs, and albums for this week's edition of Enlightened Listening. There's literally everything from techno and trance, to house, club, disco, DnB, and more. Big names like Diplo, Noisia, Benny Benassi and newcomers that are sure to impress. Unlike previous weeks everything here was released today and today only. The playlist is absolutely massive, running 145 tracks, and over 10 hours. But you've got all weekend to check it out, so take your time or skip through, but as always enjoy!

Sevla debuts SevSquad Mixtape series

Toronto "TRVP GOD" Sevla, still riding the high of bass house banger "Bandits," has a new treat in the form of a curated mix series. SevSquad is set to play host to some of the producer's favourite tunes including fire from his friends, and some exciting new edits. He takes no time at all establishing the edits, with a killer combination of Woolymammoth's "Cult" and Mura Masa's "Lotus Eater" kicking off the mix. There's familiar names like CRaymak, Joyryde and Dombresky, alongside bad ass bootlegs of Kendrick Lamar and Migos. If hard hitting, drop for drop destruction is what you crave, Selva and the SevSquad Mixtape series ought to satisfy. No download available at the moment, so stream below. Holly x BeazyTymes x Masayoshi Iimori - Pump It Up

As fresh as it gets, the threesome collab of Holly, BeazyTymes and Masayoshi Iimori "Pump It Up" has been online for only 23 minutes as I write this sentence. Hosted on the Portuguese producer's soundcloud, Holly is quickly becoming known for blistering bootlegs and countless quality collabs with the likes of Ian Munro, Woolymammoth and Whipped Cream to name just a few. Masayoshi Iimori continues to crop up just about anywhere fire new tracks are heard; I've already written about his penchant for genre and mind bending tracks (see his track for Filet Mignon Vol 4 and his Malaa "Fade" bootleg). Add BeazyTymes into the mix and you've got yourself a three continent collab of epic proportions. From North America, to Europe and Asia, "Pump It Up" has it all, not just musically but production-wise, as these are three of the fastest rising stars of the trap/bass scene. These three are not messing around, they've created an enigmatic, ear-shattering and explosive track that will surely be blasting it's enormous bass in club sets and car stereos worldwide, in absolutely no time at all.Be sure to get it while it's hot, so you can see the screw faces on your friends, as they hear it for the first time. "Pump It Up" is available for free download now!

Monday Mashed Up Mix

Each Monday I spend hours scouring the internet for all kinds of different electronic music. And each Monday I'll be posting a little mix of less than 30 minutes for your listening pleasure. It will always contain a huge variety of electronic music mixed and mashed up to varying degrees. The music is always first and foremost while DJing and mixing skills are meant to take a back seat. It will also include some brand new stuff but also some forgotten gems and whatever it was that had entered my consciousness. I'll be hosting them on my Dropbox, for your downloading pleasure, MONDAY MASHED UP MIX VOL 1. You can find the tracklisting and links for each track after the break...
