Blessed (Part 1), which is due out November 16th on
Turbo Recordings. Says
Tiga, the track "really sounds like Tiga and The Martinez Brothers, which makes a lot of sense if you think about it. They believe in God. I believe I can fly. As it turns out, we're both right." This kind of cheekiness is on full display in the production as well with
Tiga's trademark acerbic wit appearing in the lines "I woke up blessed" and "It's not me, it's you." The track is not only hip, but hypnotic with a Svengali-like web spun through the thumping bass, rattling drums and killer club atmosphere. Be careful consuming this one, it might just be running around your head all day.
