One of the coolest things about running Bump In The Hump is discovering and connecting with artists of all kinds. Electronic music is incredibly accessible and allows seemingly infinite expression. Whether you're building a beat entirely for your own enjoyment or pushing to produce the next pop sensation, it's achievable with minimal investment. And it's my pleasure to be able to bring both sides of that coin to the airwaves. Somehow Hamilton's Chromak has been able to land the coin on its side, making whatever kind of beats he wants while imbuing them with a pop sensibility. You can quite clearly hear that in his catalog, and it's made even more explicit in the interview I did with him this weekend. That's why I'm teasing this episode with his latest track "Dreaming," which you'll also hear in his episode of My Mixtape. A clip of our conversation closes out tonight's episode, and I'll post the full version tomorrow. In the same vein as Chromak's output, this week's episode of Bump In The Hump also offers an eclectic mix of music. There's a deluge of dubstep, trap, house, and future bass, and believe it or not, two orchestral tracks: from Deadmau5 and Skratch Bastid. The action starts live at 7 PM EDT on Radio Humber, and can be found after the fact via Mixcloud here.
