Jacques Greene - Live on NTS (26.04.18)
Earlier this week Jacques Greene broke his "radio silence" to share some of the material he's been collecting in the year since Feel Infinite came out. Fittingly said silence was broken on the radio, NTS to be precise. The 11 part tracklist plays host to 9 demos (his and others) along with two of his more recent releases "Nordschleife" and "Song For You." As any Jacques Greene fan should expect, the nearly 50 minute mix is indescribable genius, weaving warm and cool breezes together in a sensational storm of synth swells and palpitative percussion. His treatment of vocals (full or chopped) is always inspired, blending brilliantly with the bed while still standing strong in its own right.
