Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Weekend Warmup

The beauty of this city is that the party never stops. After showcasing several events last week in what I thought was a special circumstance thanks to St. Patrick's Day, there's just as many great shows this weekend. So once again as a teaser for tonight's episode of Bump In The Hump I'd like to draw your attention to six shows happening in the area this weekend, with links to the Facebook events, and highlight those artists I'll be playing with an asterisk, all below.

Tonight's episode of Bump In The Hump will help you get warmed up for the weekend ahead with music from these artists and more of the best new tunes from across the country. Whereas last week hit hard with house, and there's still some of it tonight, the focus shifts more towards a club feel. There's funk and groove, a ton of trap, future bass and wave, and a strong sampling of DnB and dubstep. Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Saint Patrick's Day Weekend Warmup

As you might expect the streets will be running green this weekend, as Saint Patrick's Day falls this Saturday. Of course the clubs are set to take advantage of that with several excellent events planned throughout the weekend. As we do on Bump In The Hump, I'll be showcasing a selection of those events on tonight's episode, and instead of teasing with one track or artist, I'm simply going to list those shows I'm supporting. All these shows make for an extended edition of the Weekend Warmup to go along with a mountain of new music, so much so that I've tuned the two hours heavily to the house side. As Heard Canada Day Long Weekend

Of course this past weekend was a special celebration across the country, and while I did get out and about, I only made my way to one event: Tracking w/ Mikey Palermo, Maddmon and SL.Y at Dundas Video. The music from these three (and Riggadale, Kill Them With Colour, and Booshay, who also spun) made for an awesome party. My shazam was working overtime to try to pick up the titanic tracklist they dropped, and while there were a number that I missed, I compiled the rest in this playlist.

Note it starts with Maddmon, then proceeds through Mikey Palermo (who played with Booshay as Bout It), and ends with SL.Y and others in a massive B2B jam session. The last track "Addicted To My Ex" didn't appear at Dundas Video but on my iPod via shuffle and I felt like just I had to include it.
