Last night he took to twitter to voice his displeasure, announce "no more remixes from me" but then flip everything by posting one more 'diss-track' of a remix on a new soundcloud @LidoGotClouds.

Wow. Just tried logging in to my @SoundCloud and it says my account is frozen.

These major labels really don't want these flips out there, huh
— Lido (@Lidogotsongs) November 13, 2015
This is getting ridiculous. I've had remixes taken down that I got PAID to do, just because the label decided to declare war on SC.

No original song has ever suffered from a remix. Ever. If anything, we just trynna extend the life of music we admire and that inspired us.

It's fucking art. It's appreciation. It's culture. It's not gonna stop just because they trynna kill one platform.
— Lido (@Lidogotsongs) November 13, 2015
And these labels don't even realize that they're fucking their own artists over.
— Lido (@Lidogotsongs) November 13, 2015
Fuck this. No more remixes from me.

I'll post one last thing tonight (if I can figure out how) and then I'm done until my album comes out.

Caught the blues yesterday. https://t.co/WCKmtKmqVc

It's probably gonna get taken down very quickly, so I suggest you hurry up if you wanna hear it.

Soundcloud has definitely had it's fair share of problems concerning it's copyright policies and practices, and I've heard of other cases of official productions being taken down. It seems pretty ridiculous that Soundcloud wouldn't be able to get it's act together, but there's no doubt the waters of copyright infringement have been severely muddied in recent years. As he says the track probably won't last very long, but do not fear as the track was up for direct download and I got a copy, as I'm sure many others did too. That's the beauty of the age we live in; the ability to create and share is greater than ever. Musicians are artists are they not? Don't they create art? At what point does art become a commodity? Oh shit, I fell into a little philosophy rut. Regardless, I really hope it's not true that he's done with remixes, but at least he didn't leave us hanging after this tease of a tweet dated Oct 22.
Man I have to remix this @alessiacara song. So good.
