Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Dreams Festival

Another week, another invasion of artists to the 6ix. This weekend marks another edition of the Dreams Festival, which has changed names (previously Digital Dreams) and weekends (last year July 7th/8th and previously Canada Day long weekend). That said the lineup is always stacked with some of the biggest names in the game and this year is no different. As we do on Bump In The Hump we'll be showcasing some of those names, of course with special focus on those Canadians in the mix. We'll hear tracks from Ryan Shepherd, B.Traits, Robotaki, and more. Get tickets, details and more here.The rest of the two hours of Bump In The Hump gets filled with a hearty helping of house (with a sprinkling of trap, wave and funk) including fantastic stuff from friends of the show BLANSH, Elazion, Marco Marz, and RYME x Cosella. We have tracks from the latest releases of CRi, Harrison, Swim Good Now, Chromeo, Just John x Dom Dias and a new house trio that includes PRZM, called MAP. EFYE Returns July 12th and 19th (Final Two Shows)

Fans of myself, Enlightenment For Your Ears and the best electronic dance music rejoice! You've had adequate time to dry the tears from your eyes after missing EFYE last week, which was the first week missed in over a year and half. However, this coming week holds the triumphant return of myself, Oggie James, and great local disc jockeying talent, Dano Bordie.

Once again Enlightenment For Your Ears will air during its normal time slot, Friday from 5-7 PM. At this point it is undetermined what the content of this weeks program will be, although there is a high likelihood that we will revisit the theme of the latest version of  EFYE; Toronto's Canada Day weekend electronic music festival, Digital Dreams. Stay tuned to the blog for more information about what is to come, including next week's true finale. That's right, I will once again be back on CFBU 103.7 FM, July 19. The definitive last time Enlightenment For Your Ears, as you know it, will air.

As a thank you from myself, CFBU and all the great Canadian talent that has arisen from EFYE, more specifically Keys N Krates and Grandtheft; the great Torontonian Trio as well as solo act Grandtheft have released a pair of new tracks just today. KNK via brilliant BBC radio host and new mother Annie Mac and Grandtheft has reunited with Diplo and Major Lazer for a remix of soca don Machel Montano.
