Bordello A Parigi - Diamonds In The Night

Dutch label Bordello A Parigi launched a new compilation series today featuring French talents The Hacker and Voiron as well as Armonics from Italy and Discobeton from Bulgaria. The first edition of Diamonds In The Night is a fantastic four-pack of synth driven tracks perfect for any nocturnal activity.

Opening with a dark miasma in "Passion," The Hacker lays down a shroud of synths as he leads us into the heart of this EP. A warm and fervent affair, it serves as a strong intro and welcome mat to this evening environment.

Offering up an injection of energy as we become one with the dark of night, Armonic's "Universal Oneness" features a divine dance delivery. It's a giant, growing groover that is sure warm your cockles in spite of its spine-tingling chord selection. Equally as beautiful and alluring while somehow diving even deeper and darker than its predecessor, Discobeton shows off some incredible synth work throughout his offering. "Leave Me Superficial" is a sublime, bouncy and uber cool cut.

Closing out Diamonds In The Night is the acid-touched dream of "Voironia" which instantly evokes an end, evaporating in the dawn sunrise. While each of the aforementioned tracks succeed thanks to sensational synth work, Voiron's play here is perhaps the most moving, setting us adrift in a sea of dreams.
