Dr Packer remains one of the hottest commodities when it comes to nu-disco and jackin house. Currently laying claim to two tracks in the top 30 of
Traxsource's main chart, the good doctor just upped his disco dosage with a take on Melba Moore's "
You Got Me Loving You" from 1980 album
Closer. As always,
Dr Packer delivers a reinvigorating rework instantly ready to hit the decks and get the party started. The funky grooves of the original remain largely intact, however they've been built up bigger, longer and stronger, filling the now six and a half minute delivery with a fat, four on the floor, house heartbeat. The drums, sweeping risers, sublime strings and brilliant brass flow fantastically together giving the track an exceptional ease and heartening warmth.
