In my conversation with Allan Eggert aka
Kryojen (listen
here), we talked about the incredible quality of dubstep being created these days, and while neither of us would call dubstep our favourite genre, there's no denying the breadth of brilliant bass coming from Canada. Fittingly last week's episode of
Bump In The Hump played host to perhaps my favourite run of dubstep tracks to date. Once again we've got top notch dubstep lined up for this week's episode, highlighted by a track from
Subject 31's new five track
Incoming EP, released this past Friday on
Disciple Round Table. Stream now below.
Also in tonight's dubstep section are powerhouse producers
Apashe,
INF1N1TE,
Black Tiger Sex Machine,
Exclusion, and
GDubz x
Spok. As usual there's also a hearty helping of house, flipping the script by opening with the more banging stuff and closing with the groovier cuts, culminating with
RYME and a clip of my conversation with of half of the duo in
Meech. There's also a number of tracks I've already showcased on this blog, but like
Subject 31 above, you'll have to tune in to find out which ones. Catch all that and more as I get you set for the weekend which includes shows from
SOPHIE,
1788-L, and
BlackGummy, with
Bump In The Hump live from 7-9 PM EDT on
Radio Humber. If you can't make it live, worry not, as each episode is cataloged on Mixcloud
here.
