As last month came to a close, we were treated to a record 25 years in the making as legendary Chicago outfit Ten City shared their new single "Be Free." Presented as an Emmaculate & Shannon Chambers mix, this new Marshall Jefferson & Byron Stingily affair carries the same infectious energy and soulful allure that became Ten City's trademark. Full of heart and undeniably human, "Be Free" thrives through its organic instrumentation (strings, piano, bass guitar, brass, etc.) just as Stingily's vocals inject it with optimism. Its message is unmistakable and as auspicious as ever, making it a resplendent rallying cry.
