Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Trinity Loops - Avalon Acid

Doing Bump In The Hump every week makes me acutely aware of the trends in music and without a doubt 2019 has seen an increase in acid. Of course this does not come exclusively from Canada as the same can be said for so many of my Enlightened Listening playlists too, but it feels like acid may be at an all-time high, and I for one am fully here for it. With more than a couple cuts featuring upfront acid on tonight's episode, I felt it was only right to showcase new duo Trinity Loops and their debut release "Avalon Acid." Made up of Stacey Sexton and Adam Harding of YUNG DUMB Records, there isn't much available in the way of Trinity Loops, however Stacey has her own free party this Saturday at The Embassy Bar in Kensington Market. While her selection on the night of seems to be tailored more towards vocal house numbers and cool chillers, I would not be surprised if she slipped in some techno or stuff more like her Thirst Club mixes. Get "Avalon Acid" below and hear it in the mix tonight.Along with the offering of acid on tonight's episode, there's the usual heaps of house, a brief RnB & Soul respite, and a bunch of bangers ranging from dubstep and DnB to midtempo and experimental. Catch Bump In The Hump live from 7-9 PM EDT via Radio Humber or after the fact on Mixcloud here.
