All this week NXNE is taking over the city with dozens of events, and seemingly more popping up each day. The best part of NXNE is the low cost and freedom to go between events for with merely one wristband (details here). Then again you don't even have to purchase anything for the Yonge-Dundas Square Festival Village events (Friday through Sunday) which include CHVRCHES, Tinashe, Jazz Cartier and more. That said there's still several non-NXNE shows happening and I'll be showcasing them on Bump In The Hump as well. Below you'll find a list of those events you'll hear from and about tonight. Click through for more details, to RSVP and pick up tickets (if necessary).

While it may seem all of this looking ahead to the weekend will take up the whole two hours of Bump In The Hump, there's still plenty of room for brand new music from across the country. The summer of Chromeo continues with another remix of "Must've Been" before Head Over Heels drops Friday. Pusher makes his triumphant return with "Sober." We get funky with tracks from Sparkee and Zanski's EPs, and get a first play of Hanz Ford's forthcoming track "Abyss." All this and more live from 7-9 PM EDT on Radio Humber, and cataloged after the fact via Mixcloud here.
The frenetic world of electronic music is full of distractions and diversions, hindering the ability to find transcendent music. Let Oggie James be your guru and lead down the path to musical Enlightenment. Album, song and event reviews, mixtapes, and radio shows, light the way to Enlightenment, conveyed by Oggie James.
