A staple in the Canadian dubstep scene, Abstrakt Sonance may have just released his magnum opus. An enormous 17 track album, Ishtar is much like the label it is released on; Deep, Dark and Dangerous. Featuring plenty of primal power, its instrumentals are equally awesome and irksome, sending shivers down your spine and causing you to constantly check your back to ensure you aren't being followed. Despite this cold and callous creepiness, Ishtar is such a well crafted hour that you cannot turn away, nor are there any tracks worth skipping. Even if you're not one for instrumentals, you'll still find a few fire vocal features from D Double E, Vandull and others. A landmark LP in Abstrakt Sonance's already incredible career, Ishtar lives up to its lofty title and is well worth a full playthrough. Do so now below and catch a cut in the mix on Bump In The Hump tonight, live from 7-9 PM EDT on Radio Humber, or after the fact as cataloged on Mixcloud, here.
