Pépe - H0RT4 3D1TS
A day after the world celebrated commercialism, Valencian electro authority Pépe turns the focus to charity with his H0RT4 3D1TS. Bringing new original breaks to familiar tunes "Controlla" and "Tom's Diner," he's pledged the "proceeds to local queer charity LAMBDA." Both edits deliver a simple yet strong and all too alluring twist that's most certainly capable of commanding the dance-floor. The internal action in the Drake take is brilliantly bouncy and unquestionably crisp. But where "C0NTR0LL4" comes as a tight four minute package, "T0M'S D1N3R" takes a longer route, really letting the familiar folk lyric lead. That said, Pépe's production provides all the energy necessary to bump and grind your way through the eight minute epic. Whether it's a wow-inducing intrigue or a hypnotizing take on a classic, these two edits deliver dance in droves. Stream via Bandcamp below and buy here.FOLLOW PÉPE: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER
