Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: six impala - 6FINGERDEATHPUNCH

After our so-called Coronaversary episode last week, we've got one of our hardest this week as we rage, rage, rage into the night. Following epics from CFCF and Caribou, Bump In The Hump's second-hour starts with six impala and "6FINGERDEATHPUNCH," which in turn sends the whole show into a flurry of fire that includes all kinds of bass, trap, dubstep, and DnB.

From the massive FORM All Nighter Vol. 6 compilation, in which 800+ artists spent 24 consecutive hours creating tracks for Prevent Child Abuse America, "6FINGERDEATHPUNCH" showcases six impala in rare form. Always difficult to define, the band lay down perhaps their cleanest and most direct production to date. That said, the essence of six impala can be found throughout the track, especially as they tweak the vocals and play with the sound effects that remind me of NES classic Kung Fu.

Stream "6FINGERDEATHPUNCH" now, get it via the FORM compilation here, and catch on Bump In The Hump, live tonight from 7-9 PM EDT on Radio Humber, or after the fact as cataloged on Mixcloud.

Bump In The Hump Sneak Peek: Jake Robertz - Form

Because of the double barreled breaks between episodes of Bump In The Hump in the past two plus months, I've had to sit on sensational tracks. But fear not, I come locked and loaded with wicked and wonderful weapons. Ever since I heard Jake Robertz's "Form," the b-side of tasty treat "Time" with Teasha Huns, I knew I had to share it. Finally the time has arrived for "Form" to hit the Radio Humber airwaves and unleash a flurry of screw-faces. Of course the energy of DnB is undeniable, but this one really has a sweep you off your feet feeling. The galloping drum work is awesome, but the track would be nothing without its wild, bend over backwards bass bellows. Add a little giddyup to your day by streaming now below, pick it up via High Tea Music here, and listen live tonight from 7-9 PM EDT.FOLLOW JAKE ROBERTZ: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER
