Crackazat - Fly Away
Genius jazz musician and electronic producer Ben Worrall, better known to us as Crackazat, recently released a trio of tracks based around acapellas taken from Joey Negro's ZRecords archives. This is the second such time Worrall has woven immaculate melodies around acapellas, a trick he first turned in the summer of 2016. Not quite 3 years later we've been blessed with Period Works Vol. 2, including the absolutely intoxicating lead track "Fly Away." Soaring sublime atop a rollicking piano and groovy guitar, the vocals fit the bouncy bed perfectly, playing right into the lively Crackazat craft-work. There's no way you can let this life-giving tune play out without cracking a smile; the joy and unabashed, childlike exuberance Crackazat imbues "Fly Away" with is wonderfully heartening. Launch yourself into this luxurious loftiness and wash all your worries away with the power of Period Works Vol. 2.FOLLOW CRACKAZAT: FACEBOOK SOUNDCLOUD TWITTER
