London's
Sigala is back at it again, dropping yet another track with 'love' in it's title. Talk about working an aesthetic, but boy, does it work. This time he's teamed up with two of the most widely respected acts in electronic music, over the past few years (decades for Rodgers),
John Newman and
Nile Rodgers. Of the six tracks on
his soundcloud, "
Give Me Your Love" stands out in more than one way. It's the only one that runs longer than 1:31 and is, in my estimation, his most complete and mature production to date. He utilizes the incredible strengths of Newman and Rodgers to perfection, surrounding them with plenty of warmth and funk to spare. Sadly, you won't be able to get your own copy of the track for more than two months, so you'll just have to live with the
soundcloud link below.
